Someone is actively hexing, cursing, or sending sustained negative energy at you. Signs: sudden headaches when thinking of them, nightmares featuring them, run of bad luck coinciding with conflict.

- 2Within one hour: Shower or bathe with one cup sea salt and one cup baking soda dissolved in hot water. Soak for twenty minutes minimum. Scrub downward only — always move energy down and out, never upward.

- 2Day One — Cleanse: Take a full salt bath. Add black salt if you have it, sea salt otherwise. Soak and say: 'I dissolve what has been bound. I cleanse what has been dirtied. I free what has been caught.'
- 3Day One — Begin the reversal: Cut a lemon in half. Press a piece of paper with your name on it between the halves. Sprinkle black salt between them, close, and seal with three black pins. Place in your freezer overnight.

Acute grief: fresh loss, grief anniversaries, grief ambushing you unexpectedly in public, the wave hitting harder than expected and threatening to pull you under.
- 1First: There is nothing to fix. Grief is not a curse. It is love with nowhere to go. Your first task is to stop trying to stop it.
- 2Find physical support: sit on the floor, lean against a wall or tree, lie down. Let your body have contact with something solid.
- 3Place both hands on your heart. Feel your own heartbeat. You are alive. The love you feel proves that what you lost was real and worth loving.
- 4Breathe slowly. You do not need to grieve perfectly or bravely. Let the wave come.
- 5If you can, speak aloud to whoever or whatever you have lost — or to the universe: 'I loved you. I miss you. I carry you with me.'
- 6Light a candle in their memory if you are somewhere private. Candle flames represent presence across the veil.
- 7After the initial wave: ground yourself. Drink water. Eat something simple. Cold floor, warm tea, heavy blanket.
- 8If you are in public, excuse yourself to a bathroom if possible. Splash cold water on your face. Say: 'I am safe. I can grieve later in full. Right now I return.' This does not suppress — it schedules.
- 9Write a letter to who or what you lost tonight, if you have not already. Letters to the departed ease the grief considerably and can be burned or kept as a ritual object.
Grief does not follow a timeline. Create a small ancestor or memory altar if you have not. Grief rituals at significant dates — birthdays, anniversaries, full moons — give grief a container and prevent it from ambushing you without warning.
Relationship Crisis
A relationship is in acute crisis: major fight, discovered betrayal, considering leaving, or on the receiving end of a partner's crisis. Emotions are overwhelming rational thought.
- 1Before any action: Ground completely. You cannot make sound decisions from panic. Use the Emergency Grounding spell first and fully before doing anything else.
- 2The seventy-two hour rule: Do not make permanent decisions in the first seventy-two hours of a crisis. Do not send the final message. Do not quit. Do not leave permanently. Take temporary space instead.
- 3Write two lists in private — not to send: Everything you are angry about or hurt by. Everything you value about the relationship and do not want to lose. The second list clarifies whether this is worth repairing.
- 4Perform a cord assessment: Sit quietly and feel the energetic cord between you and this person. Is it a tangle of pain right now, or is there still life in it? Your gut knows.
- 5Light a pink candle (or white) and say: 'I see this situation clearly. I act from my highest self, not from my wound. I seek what is true and what is good.'
- 6Identify what you actually need from this person. Not what you want to say. Not what is fair. What do you need to feel safe or to heal?
- 7If communication is necessary before the seventy-two hours: use only 'I feel' statements. Never 'you always' or 'you never.' Not because it is fair but because it is the only thing that works.
- 8If the crisis involves betrayal: you are allowed to be furious. You are not allowed to harm yourself or the other person. Write the fury, burn the paper, let the fire carry it.
If the relationship survives the crisis, create a ritual of recommitment — even a small private one. If it ends, perform a proper cord-cutting ritual to complete the energetic separation cleanly rather than leaving threads.
Financial Emergency
Acute financial crisis: unable to pay essential bills, unexpected major expense, job loss, business collapse. The scarcity mindset spiral that makes everything worse.
- 1Break the panic spiral first. Financial emergencies handled from panic produce worse outcomes than those handled from clarity. Use the Emergency Grounding or Anxiety Dissolve spell before any financial decision-making.
- 2List every financial resource currently available to you — not what you wish you had, what exists right now. Savings, sellable assets, people who would help, skills you can monetize, assistance programs you qualify for. Be exhaustive.
- 3Light a green candle. Sprinkle cinnamon around its base — cinnamon is the oldest magical money-drawing agent in European and African traditions. Say: 'I am resourceful. Abundance flows toward solutions. I see every door that is open to me.'
- 4Hold a coin in your dominant hand and say: 'I acknowledge lack without becoming lack. I am more than this moment.'
- 5Identify the one most critical financial need and take one concrete action toward it today, even if small. Magic without action is wishful thinking. Action without magic is exhausting.

- 2For the patient, if that is you: Spend five minutes each morning in the Emergency Healing Light visualization. Consistency matters more than duration.
- 3Charge a glass of water with healing intention by holding it in both hands and saying: 'This water carries healing to every cell it touches.' Drink it slowly with full intention.
- 4Create a small healing altar near your bed or resting place: a white candle, a photo of yourself healthy and happy, a healing crystal such as clear quartz or green aventurine.
- 5Request healing from whatever spiritual allies you work with — ancestors, deities, spirit guides. Be specific about what you need: comfort, courage, effective treatment, swift recovery.

Sudden intense spiritual experiences that are destabilizing: unexpected opening, overwhelming visions, feeling of dissolution, kundalini rising symptoms, contact with entities uninvited, inability to distinguish inner from outer.
- 1GROUND IMMEDIATELY AND AGGRESSIVELY. This is the only correct first step. Eat something dense and heavy — bread, meat, root vegetables, cheese. Drink cold water. Stamp your feet on the floor ten times.
- 2The spiritual emergency is real but you do not have to engage with it right now. You are allowed to say to any visions or presences: 'I am not available right now. Stand down.' Your consent matters.
- 3Hold salt in both hands. Salt is one of the most grounding, reality-anchoring substances available.
- 4Contact a grounded, embodied human you trust and tell them what is happening. Physical presence from another person is extremely stabilizing during spiritual emergencies.
- 5Do not, under any circumstances, drive or operate machinery during a spiritual emergency.
- 6If you are receiving messages or visions: write them down rather than trying to hold them. This externalizes them, reduces intensity, and allows you to process later when stable.
- 7Once stable: REST. Do not immediately try to analyze, share, or act on what you experienced. Give yourself at least twenty-four hours.
- 8If you experience confusion about what is real versus imagined for more than a few hours: this may be a psychological emergency rather than or in addition to a spiritual one. Contact a mental health professional who is spiritually informed if possible.
After a spiritual emergency, reduce or pause intense magical work for at least one full moon cycle. Focus on grounding practices, physical activity, sleep, and stable routine. Integration takes time.
Protection for a Loved One
Someone you love is in danger — physical, spiritual, or emotional — and you cannot be physically present to help them.
