Steps

1. Carve your petition, sigil, or name into the candle using your carving tool — carving makes your intention physical.
2. Warm the candle briefly in your hands to make the wax receptive.
3. For drawing (love, money, success): anoint from base to tip (toward you). For banishing or releasing: anoint from tip to base (away from you).
4. As you anoint, visualize your intention fully manifested — engage all senses.
5. Roll the anointed candle in powdered herbs corresponding to your goal while continuing to visualize.
6. The candle is now dressed and charged. Declare it ready: 'This candle is dedicated to [intention]. When I light it, the magic is active.'
