Steps

  1. Write the person's full name on paper nine times, then turn the paper 90 degrees and write your intention nine times over their name.
  2. Anoint the paper with banishing oil and sprinkle with black pepper and nettle.
  3. Fold the paper away from you three times, then begin wrapping it tightly with the black cord.
  4. With each wrap say: 'I bind you [name] from causing harm. Your words and actions are held fast. You cannot hurt me or anyone I love.'
  5. Tie nine knots to seal the binding, stating your intention at each one.
  6. Freeze the wrapped cord in your freezer, or bury it far from your home in a place where it will not be disturbed.
