✨ Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Begin by smoke-cleansing your entire home. Move through every room counterclockwise, paying attention to corners, closets, and doorways.
2. At the four corners of your home (or the four cardinal directions), place a black candle with a piece of protective crystal beside it.
3. Starting at the north, light each candle moving counterclockwise (north, west, south, east). At each point, say: 'Guardian of the [direction], I call upon your strength. Shield this home from all harm.'
4. Return to the centre of your home. Pour a small circle of salt around yourself and sit within it.
5. Visualise a dome of dark, impenetrable light rising from the crystals at each corner, meeting above your roof and below your floor — encasing your entire home.
6. Say: 'By earth and stone, by flame and smoke, this home is warded, this shield invoked. No malice enters, no darkness stays — I am protected all my days.'
7. Let the candles burn for at least one hour (safely). The crystals remain in place permanently as anchors for the ward.
8. Anoint your front door handle with the protective oil monthly to reinforce the ward.
