Spellcasting 101
You don't need years of study to cast your first spell — just intention, respect, and these seven foundational steps.
Cleanse Your Space
Before any working, clear your environment of stale energy. Open a window, burn sage, ring a bell, or simply set a fresh intention for the space.
Cast Your Circle
Walk clockwise three times around your space. Visualize a sphere of light forming. Say: "This circle is cast. Only love may enter."
Set Your Intention
Write your intention clearly. Be specific but not restrictive. "I attract loving, healthy relationships" — not "I attract [specific person]."
Gather Your Tools
Candles, crystals, and herbs amplify intention — but they aren't required. Your focused will is the spell. Everything else is a conductor.
Raise Energy
Build energy through chanting, breathwork, or visualization. Feel the intention swelling inside you. When it peaks — release it toward your goal.
Release & Ground
After sending your intention out, touch the earth and feel remaining energy flow back. Close your circle walking counter-clockwise. Say: "It is done."
